Session I: CXO PANEL- Each or Breach
The achievement of this ambitious vision requires transformative shifts, integrated approaches, and new solutions, particularly when it comes to advancing inclusion in letter and spirit. Innovative approaches that disrupt “business as usual” are central to removing structural barriers that impede equality.

With the increasing amplification of diversity dialogue across the industry last decade, are we closer or still distant to being an equal, enabled world? What structural and mental barriers exist that breach the spirit and practice of being equal?

What can leaders and organizations, do to build an ecosystem where equality does not just survive but thrive?
As individuals who are responsible for our own thoughts and actions, what role do we play in respecting and actively encouraging being equal? In our world of complex organizational structures, what does “Each for Equal” really mean to your business and to you as Leaders?

Session II: Equ(al)ity Drives Innovation – BEST PRACTICES from 2 organizations

Driving a culture of equality is a powerful multiplier for workplace innovation. Motivated companies continuously work hard to create an inclusive environment for people of all genders. Coming from different economic and educational backgrounds, personality types, life experiences, age, religion, etc.

They put the emphasis on a person’s skills and abilities while remaining mindful of unconscious bias. The innovation mindset is six times higher in the most-equal cultures than in the least-equal ones.

In this session, we will hear best practices from 2 select organizations on how they have nurtured the culture of equality and the benefits of the innovation received through these efforts.

Session III: Inclusion Diary – A Dialogue

Promoting equal opportunity, creating a level playing field is not just a ONE person or team’s job. Look around and you see HR typically owning this bit as the function remains at the helm of people strategy.

Is that enough? Where should the conversation lie?
How do we change the narratives and make a paradigm shift?
Our endeavor is to examine through a DIALOGUE with eminent personalities to understand certain unspoken nuances that affect workplaces of today and how comfortable are we being uncomfortable? INTERSECTIONALITY and our consciousness of the same as we continue to position GENDER as the primary dimension under D&I initiatives. Are we missing out on something IN here?

The Inclusion Diary – A Dialogue promises to inspire, motivate and equip us with the courage to start the much-needed conversation at our respective workplaces.

1430 - 1500 Voices

A unique session to capture 'voices' of participants of the conference on their experiences and dilemmas while dealing with inclusion, individually or collectively in society or workplaces. Voices is an opportunity to express, collaborate and co-create.

Participants would be responding to questions through a digital tool and the collective results would be illustrated to show commonalities and differences. As individuals or members of diverse organizations, each participant has the freedom to express their views. The session will be facilitated based on data aggregated throughout the day.

This session aims to input to the CII- IWN 2020 agenda that would eventually be crafted from the needs that emerge. So let’s use the power of 'voices' to make a collective difference and demonstrate that we are truly 'each for equal''

1500 - 1600Session VI: Theatre based workshop on Unconscious bias

Are we recipients of bias or are we biased ourselves? Maybe a bit of both?

The Steps team will help us explore these questions, through a fun-filled, drama based session where day-to-day situations will be brought to life with the help of professional actors. This session will not only give us a chance to explore what biases are and how they impact us, but also leave us with a few thoughts on how do we then manage them better to be more inclusive and more included. The session will leave us feeling inspired to 'act' differently.
